Canadian Inquisition

One of my favorite destinations on the web is canadian-based InquiringMind Magazine known to many as INQMND. Started up by Toronto bred Michael Bercasio and ran by a crew of talented and young self described hard-nosed, passionate, and ambitious individuals. INQMND started up about two years back, and since then has formed into a staple in any street-culture savvy reader's repertoire. I stumbled upon the site one day reading up on one of my personal heroes Jeff Staple, I found out INQMND had done an interview with him recently. When I entered the site it was like walking into a modern, upscale hotel lobby. There's an ecclectic hip-hop soundtrack playing at all times, I heard Mobb Deep AND Common. The layout is incredible and designed so seamlessly that you literally feel like you're floating through it. From the photography to the graphics its all amazing and that's just the visual part. They've interviewed some of the most influential people in street culture and with such skill for the craft only found in professional journalism. One of my favorite things to check out is their "Buyer's Buyble" chock full of some amazing photograhpy, featuring quality brands and goods for the season. INQMND is more like an expierience more than anything else. As is said on their blog: "The more you know the less you pretend to know". . .
